First off, I'm giving it 3 stars because it doesn't work well for me, it may work better for you and your cats. It is a high quality and sturdy item and the extra add on is fantastic. My cat uses the scratcher and likes to sleep in it. Personally, I would have gotten the House litter box had I known my cat kicks up a lot of litter, it was my first adopted cat so I took the risk.
I have a medium-large male cat so when he 'buries' his litter, the litter ends up outside and at the back of the litter tray. When you push in the tray, there's still a gap at the back which litter can still go through. I would say this is the only flaw of the litter tray but it's super frustrating as I'm having to sweep up this mess each time I clean which could have been avoided with the other House litter style. It's also very expensive and pricier so not ideal for what I paid. No issues with pee going on the ground, it's just the litter pellets.

Cute design. Kitten and bigger cats took to it immediately. (Cats range from 2-6kg and fit decently.) Cats like the scratching board on top and will occasionally sleep on it. They all use catnip cardboard scratchers so it was not a new concept to them. The biggest issue I had with this litterbox is the drawer. It does not go back easily and if not perfectly aligned, litter will get kicked under the litter box during use. Litter still gets tracked but its less over some other litterbox designs. Probably would have been more successful design if the top could be removed for cleaning rather than having a drawer. Id still recommend because the cats like it.

In my experience this item is probably the best for keeping kitty litter contained. Easy to remove tray. It’s pretty big however it reduces the kitty litter tracking down dramatically.

We have a cat that has always stood up as she wees, so we needed a litter tray that didn't result in her peeing on the floor. The design of this is great for that reason, but would be even better if the inside was all moulded into the outer shell because her pee does still run down behind the screwed on lip and goes onto the floor. We have tried putting silicone around the lip so that her wee goes straight into the litter tray instead, but that does degrade over time. If this was changed it would be absolutely perfect!

We bought this thinking that it would keep the litter out of sight. It looks great, but as soon as my cat kicks litter up against the back wall of it - it comes out the back/onto the ground behind the litter tray. Dissapointing honestly, just defeats the purpose of an enclosed litter box

Fantastic litter box. Good size, looks right at home in our bathroom, and the litter tracking has virtually stopped. Only a few stray pellets can escape due to the clever grated entry. The draw makes life super easy and I haven’t found any litter shifting over the edge. We use the top separately in our living room and our cat loves scratching and sleeping in here, not so fussed on the cushion but we got it free with the pre-order promo so no loss there. Highly recommend!

The litter box looks lovely but the inside is way smaller than you’d imagine since the entrance cuts off almost half of the useable litter space for my kitty. Every time he tried to use it he was always squished and cramped inside and started to go to the toilet in other places in our home because he didn’t like it that much. Keep that in mind if you want to purchase this item.
