Furrytail Space Capsule Cat Carrier | Cat Capsule Bag| Car Pet Carrier

Bought this cat carrier for the rescue cat I adopted (Cleo) , and while it is great quality and nicely packaged, there are a few practical design flaws that I think could use some revision. The main issue I found was a lack of ventilation. Although there are some ventilation holes running around the middle and back, it was insufficient, particularly with my cat hyperventilating due to stress in the carrier. I feel this could be improved if there were perforations added to the front door, mimicking the qualities of the metal grill common in other carriers. Perhaps this would be okay if you took your cat only on short trips - I experienced this using a vet pickup and delivery service so Cleo was in the carrier for a longer time. Cleo is a smaller adult cat, and at the time I adopted her she was severely underweight (2.8kg) due to existing hyperthyroidism. While certainly sufficient space-wise for a cat bed, it was quite small for a carrier, especially with her tendency when stressed to attempt to pace around the carrier. I would not recommend this as a carrier if your cat is larger, as I imagine these issues would be compounded. Cleo also urinated in the carrier, and while I managed to wash the cushion insert in my washing machine, being thick, it took a while to dry. Perhaps this issue could be helped by making the cushion cover waterproof or the cushion thinner (a flat base added to the inside of the carrier to raise the height of the bottom). I don't particularly blame furrytail for this; cat pee is never convenient to clean, however, I imagine other carriers would have been easier to clean. The build quality and aesthetics of this product are really fantastic, and if these above concerns do not apply to your situation, I would definitely recommend this product. However, I wish I had thought of these concerns before I bought the carrier as it now sits unused in the corner of the room as Cleo no longer goes near it (even as a bed) due to her past experience in it.

Simba is quite an anxious cat and hasn’t liked her previous cat carriers. However, she loves her capsule space carrier! It’s quite roomy and we popped in her favourite blanket so she’d feel safe and comfortable. She’s grown attached to it and uses it as a little house to sleep in at night!

This Cat Carrier is so popular everywhere we go. It’s so easy to get him in and out of and allows him to see everything that’s going on.

Their products are solid! I got the carrier, boss bed and cloud scratcher. The carrier had the cushion insert missing when I received it but they promptly responded to this matter and sent it out to me the next day. Would highly recommend and buy from Furrytail again in the future.

We recently needed two carriers to transport cats for their medical procedures. This carrier is perfect! Went together very easily and appears to be quiet durable. Size is great! Kitties can move about as they are very roomy! The front openings are a bonus! The Kitties and I both give this carrier a thumbs up!

buy this for your cat I can’t recommend this enough. It’s is perfect for a cat to have the front entry also! It’s great for going to the vet she can just reach in and give the shot and it’s done.

Nice! Perfect size for my cat! my cat hates to be in a cage and has claws so the fabric one did not workout. I think she feels more secure in this hard case when we have to put her in it as we travel.

Our cat loves this pet carrier Our cat took to the pet carrier instantly. She loves being carried in it, especially being able to see everything around her. Much to our surprise she started sleeping in it at night, where she feels safe and can still keep an eye on what is going on. We like how light and transportable the pet carrier is. We take our cat so many more places now we have this.
